The family never returned to the forest due to the painful memories there. Bolhild took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up shortspear and armor she uses now. History: Oriel was born the youngest of three triplets. Her father disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her father, she was betrayed dozens of times. She has worked as a Bather like her father before her.

History: Her arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. Being born in the south, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. History: He was born in the north. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Nikki embodies much of what other species detest in the Halflings. She is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

She spent her days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent her evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Nikki decided she wanted neither the life of her mother nor that of the evil petty criminals she associated with. History: Born in the south to a Laborer, Emmeline learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Laborer. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.
