History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Nikki was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Scribe hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Shoemaker. She hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. He has had some formal music training, and achieved minor success. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: She is enamored with her job. She loves it. She likes the challenge and she likes helping those less fortunate than her. She is underhanded and not above using her wealth and body to get others to do her bidding.

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her mother and father. Her mother taught her the rudiments of the Priest arts, while her father instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. Brilliant and gifted she never wanted to apply herself. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: He misses his glory days as an athlete. He does not mind his job, but it is boring in comparison. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: He was raised by priests from a young age. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: He has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. He is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with his big mouthed big gutted partner. His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He seeks to pay back kindness whenever he gets the chance. Whether it be in the form of unwanted serenades or the latest gossip he always seeks to do solids for his friends.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. He worked as a nervous Carpenter and found it very stressful. In his journeys he found a malevolent artifact. He wishes to return this artifact and its corrupting influence back to where it came.

History: She was born in the east. Her family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. She saw this and took pride in her father's willingness to do anything to win. Being a Performer kept her interest for a while, but then she became depressed and bored. So she turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.
