Description: He wears a well pressed and immaculate suit (or dress). He carries with him a set of falchions, each one with a sapphire on the hilt. He only wears one on his belt and the other on his back. His hair is cut close to his head. His otherwise smooth face is marked with small tiny scars.

Personality: He is a very philanthropic person; he spends his free time working at various soup kitchens. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of dire rats may trigger it at times.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Balam was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Balam fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: Seeks redemption; and he wants revenge against dire rats

History: The child of northern immigrants she idolized her father. Diesa was a troubled youth. She spent her days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent her evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Diesa decided she wanted neither the life of her father nor that of the evil petty criminals she associated with. During her early adolescence, she took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Diesa fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Zaffrab was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and wants to have a good time and be beloved

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Personality: She is quite rude, and likes to deride her opponents skill and shout insults at them. She also has developed a complete distrust of the Cartwright profession.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. Cursed with vampirism at a very young age, Sun has worked very hard to control her curse. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.

Motivation: Balancing her hectic life and new Bather responsibilities is difficult; and she'd like to take her coworkers down a peg
