However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the gnolls.

History: She was born into a rich family. In her 14th year, her parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Giselle alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She became a Guard soon after.

Personality: Prone to second guessing himself, he comes off as nervous. Iados is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his brothers into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: A powerful slaver made him what he is. He always admired divine-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Stableman they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Sailor, and he later adopted a second son.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother; and an old rival family wants him found

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Her first spouse was a Brewer, they had one daughter, but her spouse won total custody. Without her spouse to temper her she grew out of control. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her daughters to still be retired.

History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the east. Reynard was born on a far northern island where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Ruler. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: He doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes.

History: His arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.
