Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Bather born in the past three hundred years. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Half-Elves.

History: Nicholas was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Like his father and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Bather. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

History: She was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for her. It may also be what makes her so good at details. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. Personality: Cocky and sure of herself, she believes she is the best Barber born in the past three hundred years. She has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a woman enough she will sell her own mother. Money is her most trusted friend.

History: She comes from a rich western family. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. She was one of the best in her class, and was picked up by her current employer. She quickly showed her capability and was soon promoted to a head role. She's also a talented Bookbinder, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Personality: He is fixated on the number 18. He counts his steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. He seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. He also has developed a complete distrust of the Painter profession.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the south. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Personality: Her voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl she speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of her tone. Energy wise she seems alert and responsive.

History: Emeny lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. From her teen years she was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on her. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Emeny fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: He is irritable and easily angered. He is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use his stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
