History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He became a Barrister soon after.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. Being born in the south, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the south for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way east. She has recently attracted an admirer that believes she's playing hard to get.

When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Laborer hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She got away from her former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and her religion dominates her actions
