History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. A gifted student he started as a Fletcher, but he got bored and became a Ploughman. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Personality: He exudes charisma. He is a tour de force of persuasion. He is a thrill seeker, he laughs at people and throws down challenges. He is highly competitive and combative.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Map Maker arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. In his 10th year, his parents were killed by a drow raid, leaving Efferil alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever he goes.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother; and wants to raise his children well

History: Mehen hails from a village terrorized by orcs. His parents were killed by orcs in a raid when he was still a young child. The orcs captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by orcs, and he desires to right it.

A gifted student she started as a Sailor, but she got bored and became a Bookbinder. She's also a talented Sailor, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He was taken from his home at a very young age. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.
