History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

History: He got into the Unemployed business at a young age. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

History: When she was but 5 years old her parents immigrated from the west. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Half-Orcs in Murook's homeland. Murook decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. Being a Map Maker kept her interest for a while, but then she became depressed and bored. So she turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Through the years after Liftrasa was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Liftrasa's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
