He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Personality: Direcris speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. He tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Direcris grew up listening to his mother's many stories. Direcris abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Direcris fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

In the process these unassuming Dwarves became a terror of the countryside. She has since married many spouses, only to have them die. She claims to not be responsible.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. In his 10th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Duergath alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

Personality: A grumpy gal she will invite people to lunch so she can critique them. Yet she still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. She moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep her interest for a month it is impressive.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. While she appears to be a normal Human, she's... not quite right. Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. She now mingles about in high society.

Personality: She barks her statements quickly and with little fuss. She prefers small words and is at her heart utilitarian. She would rather hide behind her crafts than deal with other people.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. In her 18th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her mother impaled in their home, and her father beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.
