History: Flame lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His first spouse was a Shoemaker, they had one son, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He was granted necromantic powers by his dying sister.

As a young child he wandered into the woods despite his mother's warnings against it. Afterwards he claimed he had encountered illithids who tried to eat his hand. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.
