History: Born in the west to a Spy, Morthos learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. His parents were killed by dire rats in a raid when he was still a young child. The dire rats captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Torgga was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. While studying, she fell in love. They married and had a daughter. She has since married many spouses, only to have them die. She claims to not be responsible.
