He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

History: She comes from a rich western family. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Mara grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Mara. She hasn't been sleeping well lately.
