Personality: A deeply religious woman she believes everything happens for a reason. She spends most of her days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There she gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.
History: Barbena lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Barbena abandoned her home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. She survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. She did whatever it took for her to survive. She leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever she goes.
Motivation: She has a rivalry with the Church that dominates her actions.

Description: This man wears an old set of leather armor, nicked and torn by the ravages of time and battle, and sports empty pouches on his belt. He keeps his purple hair in a pixie cut. His half smiles and black eyes are beguiling and draw you in.
Personality: He is shy and timid. He has not had much interaction with people and is skittish around them. He feeds upon the attention of others.
History: Born in the south his family was never financially stable. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Valafar fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever.

Personality: She barks her statements quickly and with little fuss. She prefers small words and is at her heart utilitarian. She invented a lineage for herself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.
History: Born in the east to a Butcher, Kristryd learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. A gifted student she started as a Knight, but she got bored and became a Butcher. She has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Knight. She hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.
Motivation: She desires power and/or immortality; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

Personality: She is happy with her job as a Mason. She turns her eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. She loves her children and doesn't want them to worry about her. She loves to share her dancing with anyone who is interested.
History: Nissa was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her father was employed at, doing general labor. Being born in the west, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the west for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way east. She left for the west, certain she would find work there.

Personality: He speaks before he thinks and is too direct. Any perceived weakness will be pressed and exploited. He is seen as merciless and passionate.
History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature ceremonial dagger.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. He moved out west to avoid the crime he committed. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. He is able to fit into much smaller and tighter spaces than normal.
History: Thomas was born the youngest of three triplets. He found a children's book about a Half-Elf Wizard who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. Being a Ruler kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Description: A woman with a warm, jovial air about her, she usually wears her blue robe and has her flail always slung over her shoulder. Her hair, while still mostly red, has prominent grey streaks. Her fair skin shows little sign of her aristocratic breeding.
Personality: She barks her statements quickly and with little fuss. She prefers small words and is at her heart utilitarian. She is harsh and unforgiving.
History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Since her father passed away years ago, her mother had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. During her travels, Drusilia and her party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Drusilia discovered the rest of her party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Drusilia fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing her own horrible transformation.
Motivation: She desires power and/or immortality; and she's looking for her big break
