History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Ahvain grew up listening to his father's many stories. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Barrister they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Server, and he later adopted a second daughter.

History: Her arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. Ostracized due to the arcane powers of her oldest sister, she and her siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Tieflings became a terror of the countryside. She eventually got the idea of being the protector of her homeland from reading books, and has made it her duty.
