History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. She was a general practitioner in the north for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way south. History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Thorin was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Thorin decided he wanted neither the life of his mother nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.
