History: Her arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. When Matilda reached her early adolescence her Half-Elf mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. Lacking all sense, she decided to go on an adventure. She picked a direction and started trekking.
Motivation: To pay off her debts; and she made a deal with a demon which lead to her current lot in life, and she's becoming increasingly nervous about it

History: Heir to a fortune, her parents put a great deal of effort into curing her disease. Being born in the east, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the east for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way north. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

Personality: She is shy and timid. She has not had much interaction with people and is skittish around them. A fanatic, her devotion to her small selection of gods is unquestionable. She claims to be doing their will and will base all her actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.
History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when orcs swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. While studying, she fell in love. They married and had a daughter. She has since married many spouses, only to have them die. She claims to not be responsible.
Motivation: She wants to meet her childhood hero; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by orcs, and she desires to right it

History: She got into the Barber business at a young age. Through the years after Pearl was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Pearl's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.
Motivation: She is a bit of a kleptomaniac; and balancing her hectic life and new barber responsibilities is difficult

Personality: She does not care much for physical appearances, nor does she care much for other people. She does however care about what she wants and getting it. She will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. She cares deeply for her spouse and does her best to make sure her guests look presentable.
History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Cursed with a spirit at a very young age, Ahlyssa has worked very hard to control her curse. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.

Personality: She fancies herself a trickster and likes to rely on her wits to carry the day. She cares for her older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. When triggered she is a bloodthirsty maniac, stopping at nothing and killing everything for almost an hour.
History: Sweet was born with her mother's beautiful face. She became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. She is untrained/undisciplined, which makes her dangerous.

Description: This man wears a shirt and pants that are bristling with pockets overflowing with maps, compasses, and other navigational equipment, and sports empty pouches on his belt. He has a very tight haircut. His brown eyes dart from person to person.
Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes brigands are coming to abduct people. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Varg is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.
History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. Varg liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.
