Description: He wears green painted combat armor at almost all times, but does not cut a very imposing figure. He walks with a slouch but will stand straight to his full 5'9" when asserting himself. He has no hair. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.
Personality: He is enamored with his job. He loves it. He likes the challenge and he likes helping those less fortunate than him. He has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.
History: He comes from a rich eastern family. He worked as a nervous Map Maker and found it very stressful. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

A flowing brown cape and mantle trimmed with soft violet waves gently in the breeze. Her auburn hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. Her violet eyes lackadaisically let the world flow into them.
Personality: In the realm of puns, she cannot help herself. She feels obliged to make them. Her philosophy is that everyone needs a friend and as such shows hospitality towards all.
History: A powerful necromancer made her what she is. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She now mingles about in high society.
Motivation: Wants to have a good time and be beloved; and she has money and likes to spend it

His face is feral with sharp distinguishing features. His spectacle hidden eyes are a deep green.
Personality: He thrives on attention. He does whatever is in his power to gain the attention of whomever he deems a fit date. He is very protective of his business, his home, and his spouse. He is willing to work with less than legal methods but maintains the front of legitimacy.
History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Einkil was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His mother was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. Being a Carter kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her mother and father. Her mother taught her the rudiments of the Unemployed arts, while her father instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. Her homeland was ravaged by war and she spent much of her life rebuilding it. She now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

History: She was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for her. It may also be what makes her so good at details. Before the accident, she was one of the most outspoken anti-Human activists. She was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Description: A moderately attractive man, he does not wear sleeves and tends to eschew shirts when he can avoid it. His moppish blonde hair is in a traditional bowl cut. His face is feral with sharp distinguishing features. His spectacle hidden eyes are a deep amber.
Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Painter born in the past three hundred years. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.
History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the forest to a summer home near a large cave. He would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the forest due to the painful memories there. Gerbo took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up lance and armor he uses now. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.
Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Painter responsibilities is difficult; and retire the richest man in the east

History: The child of southern immigrants she idolized her mother. Through the years after Shivering was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Shivering's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Bellfounder they were divorced and she won custody of their son. She worked as a Barber, and she later adopted a second son.
