She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

History: She comes from a rich western family. Her father disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her father, she was betrayed dozens of times. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. Enialis was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the illithids.

Personality: She is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. She constantly seizes attention wherever she goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. She likes to think of herself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Ubada grew up listening to her mother's many stories. She found a children's book about a Half-Orc Adept who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his mother. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Motivation: To clean up the streets.

History: Ribbles lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Jeweler they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Carter, and he later adopted a second son.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Carter and was forced into it by his family.
