Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. He has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: Heian lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered east to less war torn lands. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: The child of a Tailor, who enjoyed hunting, Valanthe was taken on many hunting expeditions. She helped her mother out around the business and became quite the natural. She has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Shoemaker.

Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and she desires to right it

Description: A woman of a pale complexion, she wears an entirely green suit with brown socks and a vest with buckled shoes. Her brass crest is lengthy and is close to two feet long. She wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into her face.

Personality: She considers herself the protector of her home. She feels this is her duty and calling. She is fiercely devoted to her mother, and views her mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating her from her legal half-brother.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Her homeland was ravaged by war and she spent much of her life rebuilding it. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Sculptor they were divorced and she won custody of their daughter. She worked as a Herbalist, and she later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: To unite with her brother; and she doesn't get along with people that don't share her tastes

Personality: She is overprotective of those who hire her services. She claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day she will do what she thinks is right.

History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. A freak accident while working with her Tailor mother left her crippled. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He found a children's book about a Elf Aristocrat who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

Personality: She is a very happy person and has lots of energy. To put it simply, she's a very lovable idiot. She disdains her fellow easterners, claiming they make her look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: Thea was raised in a hard working conservative environment. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She tends to her Shipwright job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.

Motivation: Balancing her hectic life and new Shipwright responsibilities is difficult; and expand her business
