Personality: He is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. He lacks moral complications. He does what he is told to by employers but not much else. He spends his money on whatever he fancies at the time.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Kothûg grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Kothûg. He would ruin relationships and cause injury. He was reprimanded several times before being given his current form and forced to learn humility.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. She always admired arcane-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To pay off her debts; and she made a deal with a demon which lead to her current lot in life, and she's becoming increasingly nervous about it

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Korfel was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. While he appears to be a normal Elf, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: Born in the west her family was never financially stable. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature mace.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and meet up once more with her childhood friend
