History: Cairn was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Warlock, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Warlock in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Personality: She shows great sympathy to all travelers. She's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. She does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of dire rats may trigger it at times.

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Her father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her father was legitimate. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Trained by her father for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. She was one of the best in her class, and was picked up by her current employer. She quickly showed her capability and was soon promoted to a head role.
