History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Someone believes her a fraud.

History: Maiathah was born the youngest of three triplets. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Half-Elves in Maiathah's homeland. Maiathah decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: Born in the south her family was never financially stable. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Banker hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Akra fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
