When her father died while fighting goblins, the young Shava began to lead the lost caravan. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He now mingles about in high society.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Pog was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His first spouse was a Glassblower, they had one son, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Glassblower they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Miner, and he later adopted a second son.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when goblins swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Being born in the north, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the north for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way south. She has since lost track of the people in her past.
