History: Born in the north his family was never financially stable. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Arumawann grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Arumawann. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

History: He comes from a rich northern family. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: Born in the west to a Bricklayer, Waywocket learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature lance.
