History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Xappan grew up listening to his father's many stories. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Personality: She is cool and collected. She likes to make quips and puns whenever she does anything. She also makes a point to compliment her superiors and flatter them. She keeps company with all sorts of races to see how they think and challenge minds foreign to her own.

History: She was born in the north, but her parents moved at a very young age to the south. Her parents were killed by illithids in a raid when she was still a young child. The illithids captured her, and made her a slave and general play-thing. She was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to her deformed appearance. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: He likes to fabricate stories about his past exploits and how crazy he is, but in actuality he is rather bland. He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. He always admired divine-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. He is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with his big mouthed big gutted partner. His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He has all his life been fascinated with writing.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She has worked as a Miller like her father before her.

Motivation: She is unsatisfied with her job; and wants to open a new tavern

Personality: He likes to brag about his accomplishments and constantly tries to beat others to the punch. He is able to fit into much smaller and tighter spaces than normal.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and to be a painter again

History: He was born in a small mountains village. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. He bought a bow and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.

Motivation: He has decided he is irredeemable; and he is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. The war was a terrible time for him, and Gale does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Gale was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: She is intelligent and cunning, but she will too often allow her rage to get the better of her. She will lose her cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. She also is a firm believer in the womanly ideal.

History: Wella hails from a village terrorized by giants. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Wella grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Wella. She has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and she desires to right it; and a rival would like her out of the picture
