This search led him directly into Spice Merchant work with an outfit from a few towns over. Spice Merchant work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He has worked as a Spice Merchant like his father before him.

Motivation: He made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and he is wracked by social anxiety

Personality: She is filled with cunning. She likes to feign weakness letting people think she is weak. Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Thiala is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.
