Personality: Philomena speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. She is clearly well-traveled and educated. She is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with her old comrades. She has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. At a young age both her parents were killed in an accident. Her uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took her in and had her trained in basic self defense. She is searching for what she claims is her rightful reward.

He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Through the years after Umpen was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Umpen's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has since lost track of the people in his past.
