After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

History: Trained by her father for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. Sumnes liked to wander the woods near her home when she was young, something she still likes to do at least once a week. She never liked modest clothing or shoes, so she would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and she developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her sons to still be retired.

History: Born to a Marshal, her father struggled to pay the bills. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Scribe hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She is untrained/undisciplined, which makes her dangerous.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Ratlûg embodies much of what other species detest in the Half-Orcs. He is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. He haggles over everything, upselling his goods and buying cheap. He is persistent in everything.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. Through the years after Ratlûg was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Ratlûg's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.
