History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He worked as a nervous Dyer and found it very stressful. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Dyer for hire.

Personality: She is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before her hampering stammer kicks in. She cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist she will grow angry at them.

History: Born in the south her family was never financially stable. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Susannah grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Susannah. Being a Engraver kept her interest for a while, but then she became depressed and bored. So she turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.
