Personality: Veloptima wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Paladin, so she tries to act the part. She does a good job, for the most part... She is cautious and jumpy. She reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.
History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. In her 15th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her mother impaled in their home, and her father beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. She eventually got the idea of being the protector of her homeland from reading books, and has made it her duty.
Motivation: She has a rivalry with the Church that dominates her actions; and her religion dominates her actions

Personality: Greeba speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. She is clearly well-traveled and educated. A fanatic, her devotion to her small selection of gods is unquestionable. She claims to be doing their will and will base all her actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.
History: A child with a great deal of dancing talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. She went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. She has since married many spouses, only to have them die. She claims to not be responsible.
Motivation: She doesn't get along with people that don't share her tastes; and she wants to meet her childhood hero

Description: He is an average looking eastern male in his early mid-life. He wears a robe, a symbol of luck around his neck, and a shortspear on his belt. He wears his orange fur up. His ears are large.
Personality: Dagger speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. He has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.
History: He was born in a small island village. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the island to a summer home near a ruined castle. He would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the island due to the painful memories there. Dagger took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up shortspear and armor he uses now. He bought a shortspear and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.
Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC.

Personality: She fancies herself a trickster and likes to rely on her wits to carry the day. She cares for her older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. She has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.
History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her father. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of goblins attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Nikki fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
Motivation: Her relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and regain custody of her son

History: Gifted from a young age, Skamos studied abroad. A freak accident while working with his Jeweler father left him crippled. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.
Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help; and he possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal

Description: This light-skinned male is dressed in earthy colors with a tan and brown handkerchief worn on his right side. He is tall, broad shouldered and powerfully built. His blonde hair and beard is wavy and long. His thin eyebrows rest above his beady hazel eyes.
Personality: He has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. He is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with his big mouthed big gutted partner. His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of dire rats once and for all.
History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Hadarai was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Elven companion (his 'brother'). He has dedicated himself to building a better world.

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not.
