When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Assassin hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Tiefling doctor. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: A strong sense of loyalty to Tiefling people; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs
