History: Damaia was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her mother was employed at, doing general labor. At a young age she wooed the heart of her future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge.

History: Born in the south to a Tanner, Cloak learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. After coming to the age of reason, Cloak took it upon herself to study the psionic arts in their entirety; because of this, she was labeled a dark omen and banished from her homeland. She was granted psionic powers by her dying sister.

He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. After a long history of fighting, Senteq and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when giants swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Through the years after Oskar was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Oskar's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by giants.
