Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He is obsessed with finding treasure.
History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature scythe.

Personality: He is intelligent and cunning, but he will too often allow his rage to get the better of him. He will lose his cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. He also is a firm believer in the manly ideal.
History: Born in the east to a Locksmith, Gerald learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Personality: She resents people who mock her appearance or her, so she has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. She has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.
History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. In her 15th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her mother impaled in their home, and her father beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. She has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Tanner. She hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.
