Windy liked to wander the woods near her home when she was young, something she still likes to do at least once a week. She never liked modest clothing or shoes, so she would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and she developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. She began using that to her advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. She was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of specialists.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by drow, and she desires to right it; and she is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs

Personality: He fancies himself a trickster and likes to rely on his wits to carry the day. He cares for his older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. He pushes his goals aggressively. He is also a coward if confronted.

History: Borgu lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. One day when Borgu was young, his father was sewing while trying to overcome the flu, when suddenly his father dropped to the ground dead. His father had died from a severe disease that was unknown to the village doctor. Borgu was heart-stricken from the event, and his mother started working long hours to provde for them. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Gardener.

Motivation: To unite with his brother.

History: He was born in the east, but his parents moved at a very young age to the south. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Cloud grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Cloud. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Ghaliver embodies much of what other species detest in the Halflings. He will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Sculptor work with an outfit from a few towns over. Sculptor work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Sculptor for the past few years.

Personality: He is a sleazy, sleazy guy. He has no qualms about using his powers of suggestion to get people to do what he wants. He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Ruler arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it; and his religion dominates his actions

History: Heir to a fortune, her parents put a great deal of effort into curing her disease. Since her mother passed away years ago, her father had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.
