History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her father. Her family was turned out during the war. She and her family wandered north to less war torn lands. Recently a tribe of orcs attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Gurdis fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

The goblins captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by goblins, and he desires to right it; and a deep hatred of goblins

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. She has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: Her voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl she speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of her tone. On top of that she is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to her employer will always come first she doesn't like to hit women.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Harriet grew up listening to her father's many stories. Ostracized due to the arcane powers of her oldest sister, she and her siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Halflings became a terror of the countryside. She has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Carter. History: Her mother raised her in a mountain cabin. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Baker hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Anastrianna fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and she seems to be bored by most things
