History: Veloptima was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her father was employed at, doing general labor. At a young age both her parents were killed in an accident. Her uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took her in and had her trained in basic self defense. She has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

His mother taught him the rudiments of the Locksmith arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. His parents were killed by drow in a raid when he was still a young child. The drow captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.
