History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature pickaxe.

Motivation: He is unsatisfied with his job; and he feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Before the accident, she was one of the most outspoken anti-Halfling activists. She was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Halfling doctor. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Doctor work with an outfit from a few towns over. Doctor work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He's also a talented Healer, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Like his father and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Servant. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To be a Bellfounder again; and he wants to get laid

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. She found a children's book about a Elf Expert who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.
