History: Born to a Engraver, his mother struggled to pay the bills. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Patrin grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Patrin. Being a Carpenter kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

History: Jarsali was born with her father's beautiful face. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Motivation: A deep hatred of brigands; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. She always admired martial-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by drow. Simon was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the drow.
