Description: A man with a cold, calculating air about him, he wears a shirt that is too small, which lets his gut show, with a ratty grey coat over it. Sporting a chestnut mohawk and bushy mustache this man's hair draws a lot of attention. His eyes are a pleasant brown.

Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He became a Carter soon after.

Motivation: His religion dominates his actions; and he is terrified, and will act out of fear

Description: A woman with a warm, jovial air about her, she wears a brown vest and prefers violet and brown shirts. Her boots appear to have been at one point steel toed but are quite worn down. She has done her best to style her brown hair to look like a famous performer. Her otherwise smooth face is marked with small tiny scars.

Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. She is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes her no end of embarrassment.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. Brilliant and gifted she never wanted to apply herself. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: She is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get her out; and she feels that her past leaves her morally obligated to help

Description: She stands about 5'4" and wears a well pressed and immaculate suit (or dress). Her left hand appears badly burned and disfigured. Her hair, while still mostly white, has prominent grey streaks. Her fair skin shows little sign of her aristocratic breeding.

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, she has a hard time making friends. She does not believe in violence as a means to an end. She is a dedicated Tanner but believes her peers are too gung-ho.

History: She was raised in a mountains tribe. When she was little, her rather wealthy family often ventured across the mountains to a summer home near a old dungeon. She would wander through that old dungeon and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and she was stranded inside. Her family spent the next few days looking for her, and could only assume she was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the mountains due to the painful memories there. Beatrice took refuge in the old dungeon and found the beat up glaive and armor she uses now. After a long history of fighting, Beatrice and her spouse have recently divorced.

History: He comes from a rich southern family. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. As of late he has set up a hidden staging nest where he ambushes people he hires for escort.

Personality: He snorts whenever he laughs or is feeling confident. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: Born in the south his family was never financially stable. His first spouse was a Soapmaker, they had one son, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Motivation: He's looking for his big break; and he made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it

Personality: He is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends he is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy himself. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of illithids may trigger it at times.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Butcher for the past few years.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and many illithids want him driven away
