He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Slave Trader for the past few years.

Personality: Prone to second guessing herself, she comes off as nervous. As she has aged she has sought to do reparations for her actions as a youth. She is also making sure that her compatriots who never received punishment for their crimes are brought to justice.

History: Verin was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Wizard, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Wizard in service of a powerful lord somewhere. In her youth she was part of a gang. She got caught, but did not rat out her comrades and served her time in prison.
