History: She was born in a small desert village. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Adrie grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Adrie. Being a Shepherd kept her interest for a while, but then she became depressed and bored. So she turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Expert in service of a powerful lord somewhere. Like her mother and her brother before her, after school she went straight into learning to become a Merchant. She inherited the family business which she has now maintained for 7 years.
