History: She was born into a rich family. In her 11th year, her parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Quillathe alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and she desires to right it

History: Maynild hails from a village terrorized by drow. Like her mother and her sister before her, after school she went straight into learning to become a Shipwright. She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Apothecary arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. He has worked as a Apothecary like his father before him.

History: Born to a Marshal, her mother struggled to pay the bills. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. After a long history of fighting, Xanaphia and her spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation she is generally quite perceptive. She notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. When she's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, she's doing dancing.

History: She was born in the east. A serious injury left her mother unemployed and in need of constant care. Her family became saddled with debt trying to care for her infirm mother. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: She made a deal with a demon which lead to her current lot in life, and she's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and to pay off her debts

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. A gifted student he started as a Healer, but he got bored and became a Herbalist. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: To be a Healer again; and balancing his hectic life and new herbalist responsibilities is difficult
