History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His parents were killed by orcs in a raid when he was still a young child. The orcs captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: He was born in the west. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: She was born in the east. Her father disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her father, she was betrayed dozens of times. She has never given up on her singing dream.

History: Born in the north her family was never financially stable. Since her mother passed away years ago, her father had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. He became a Miller soon after.
