Personality: While he is on the job, he is grim and serious. He understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. Balam was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Balam decided he wanted neither the life of his father nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Stylist for hire.
