History: Althaea hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. Althaea liked to wander the woods near her home when she was young, something she still likes to do at least once a week. She never liked modest clothing or shoes, so she would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and she developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Her martial talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Map Maker work with an outfit from a few towns over.
