She was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to her deformed appearance. She eventually got the idea of being the protector of her homeland from reading books, and has made it her duty.

History: A child with a great deal of singing talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. In her formative years she discovered how persuasive she was. She began using that to her advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Retire the richest woman in the west; and she made a deal with a demon which lead to her current lot in life, and she's becoming increasingly nervous about it
