History: Burgell was born in the east. At a young age he loved to build and create. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Painter hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

History: When she was but 7 years old her parents immigrated from the north. She went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. She now spends her time doing works of charity.

Personality: He loves telling others what to do and how they should feel about things. The war was a terrible time for him, and Lamlis does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. His first spouse was a Cook, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent mother.

Personality: He speaks before he thinks and is too direct. He enjoys reading and quiet.

History: He was born in the south. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Fargas grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Fargas. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

Personality: He is irritable and easily angered. He is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use his stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of dire rats may trigger it at times.

History: He was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family Oskar abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and he wants revenge against dire rats

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Healer. He has achieved small success as a Healer.
