History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. In his 14th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Valorean alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Valorean was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the dire rats.

History: A child with a great deal of poetry talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Gnomes in the west were limited. She left for the west, certain she would find work there.

Personality: While she acts the brute, she is far gentler than she would appear. She is fiercely devoted to her mother, and views her mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating her from her legal half-sister.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her mother. Because her mother participated in the massacre of their homeland, gnolls burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. She was preparing to flee to the south, but the outbreak of war prevented her and her father from journeying south to reunite her family. By chance she met her sister recently and the two have been together since.

Personality: He likes to fabricate stories about his past exploits and how crazy he is, but in actuality he is rather bland. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

He has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.

History: Ar-Kaius was born in the west. At a young age he loved to build and create. His parents were killed by goblins in a raid when he was still a young child. The goblins captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by goblins. Ar-Kaius was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the goblins.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, she was no stranger to responsibility. From her teen years she was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on her. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
