Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He is a thrill seeker, he laughs at people and throws down challenges. He is highly competitive and combative.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Vlorn grew up listening to his father's many stories. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Personality: She hates illithids. She views them as having robbed her home of its proper glory. She feeds upon the attention of others.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Vadania was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. As a young adult she joined a group advocating for an improvement in Elven conditions. She hasn't been sleeping well lately.

History: Berrian lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

History: Scrag hails from a village terrorized by illithids. In his 12th year, his parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Scrag alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

History: Tharivol was born with his father's beautiful face. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.
