Description: An imposing man with a heavy stainless steel prosthetic left hand, he wears a robe, a symbol of the four houses of cards around his neck, and a lance on his belt. He has a long red beard with little hanging trinkets. He is baby faced.
Personality: Abrasive and pushy, he has a hard time making friends. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Dwarves.
History: Barendd lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Through the years after Barendd was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Barendd's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.
Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister.

Personality: She is enamored with her job. She loves it. She likes the challenge and she likes helping those less fortunate than her. She takes great joy in being the best Fortune-teller in town.
History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. She worked as a nervous Fortune-teller and found it very stressful. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Description: She is of a modest build and height, but she carries herself more imposing than she is. She wears skinny pants and wears a brown and blue robe with the hood down. Her fur is cinnamon, silky, and of moderate length. This yellow eyed northerner is not easily forgotten.
Personality: She has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Navigator who has hired her part-time. She believes the world needs to unite to get rid of giants once and for all.
History: Three was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her mother was employed at, doing general labor. She became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. Being a Navigator kept her interest for a while, but then she became depressed and bored. So she turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.
Motivation: She has a crush on the local Locksmith; and several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge

Personality: He is irritable and easily angered. He is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use his stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. He is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of him. He is by nature obliging.
History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. While he appears to be a normal Half-Orc, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Rosamund embodies much of what other species detest in the Half-Elves. She refers to her adoptive father for almost all things she is unsure about, which are numerous. She is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.
History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the south. As a young adult she joined a group advocating for an improvement in Half-Elven conditions. By chance she met her sister recently and the two have been together since.

Description: A man with a friendly, welcoming air about him, he wears tight fitting clothing which further accentuates his frame. His blonde hair is still thick. He is very pretty but has cold, dead eyes.
Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. The war was a terrible time for him, and Bruz does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.
History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. Some 7 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Bruz never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his father had trained him before.
Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.
